Tank repair
The Challenge
- Seal a corrosion leak at the top of the storage tank, where another company has been unsuccessful on two occasions
- Eliminate welding seam between 2 plates with height difference of 11 mm
- Repair must be done without stopping production
- Take care of limited accessibility to the workshop
- Carry out repairs in accordance with the ISO 24817 standard
Solution
- Development of a solution in cooperation with Henkel
- Durable LOCTITE patch application by our own certified applicators
- Completing the job completely autonomously with our own service truck
Production Profits
- Repairing the leak with a level difference between 2 plates of 11 mm at the weld is a challenge, where repair attempts by third parties have failed.
- This LOCTITE patching solution avoids unforeseen additional repair costs and unwanted decommissioning of the storage tanks.
